About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and organized Operations Coordinator to help manage and streamline our
transportation activities. This role is focused on keeping freight moving smoothly and making sure all details are
tracked and communicated clearly. If you’re resourceful, tech-savvy, and eager to learn the logistics industry, this is a
great opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with scheduling and tracking shipments across different types of freight:
• Domestic LTL (Less-than-Truckload)
• Linehaul and cartage company networks
• Full Truckload (FTL)
• Hotshot/expedited services
• Drayage (port-to-door moves)
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal team members to ensure shipments are on time and issues are
resolved quickly.
• Keep records organized in spreadsheets, databases, and company systems.
• Use tools like Excel, Outlook, Word, and ChatGPT to prepare documents, reports, and communications.
• Support leadership with research, data entry, and process improvement.
• Learn and grow into more advanced logistics responsibilities over time.
• Quickly address and resolve any issues or delays during transit to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize technology to manage freight data, monitor shipments, and keep all relevant parties updated.
• Becoming part of the team and being the face of MAV Inc.

Qualifications:
• Comfortable working on a computer every day — strong skills in Excel, Outlook, Word, and general internet
research.
• Ability to use tools like ChatGPT or similar AI assistants to create documents, solve problems, and streamline
tasks.
• Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Problem solver who can adapt when plans change.
• Logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or Mandarin Chinese) are highly valued.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• A self-starter with a proactive and customer-centric mindset.
